Jess and Matt were married at Panorama a few weeks ago and the day could not have been more beautiful.  They hosted a lovely ceremony on the top of the hill before guests proceed to the front lawn for cocktails and eventually in to the barn for dinner and dancing.   Jess infused classic design with a playful twist and came up with bright and beautiful accents through details like patterned table runners in bright yellow hues, stunning paper materials and and adorable maple syrup favors (a nod to their time together in Vermont).   They even made the New York Times!

Claire and Moriel currently live in Israel, so planning a wedding in Charlottesville wasn’t going to be a walk in the park!  However, they had a great team behind them and the entire day went off without a hitch (which is pretty hard to avoid when you have beautiful weather, great food and plenty of happy guests).  They hosted their ceremony at the grove of trees uphill from the barn before inviting guests to a tent in the front lawn for cocktail.  When it came time for seating, the front doors were opened and guests gathered inside to enjoy pre-plated salads on tables topped colorfulful runners and flowers.  Since their guest-list of 150 left little room for an indoor buffet, Harvest Moon provided a beautiful buffet in the middle of the dancefloor which was moved following dinner to accomodate this rowdy, dancing crowd. After a bit of dancing and a few toasts, guests were invited outside for a bit of star-gazing while enjoying donuts and coffee in Carpe Donut’s adorable outdoor tent.  What a day!  Check out Lucy O Photo’s version of the day here and below!

Jill and Brian were married on the hilltop during a perfect fall day in Virginia.  Following the ceremony, guests wandered down to the barn and grabbed a drink from one of two bars (one on the front lawn and one inside) while enjoying a variety of appetizers on the front lawn. Guests then delighted in small bites directly from the grill for their ‘station-style’ dinner with open seating at a number of round tables, cocktail tables and beautiful lounge pieces from Stonegate. After dark, guests made their way in to the barn where the  gorgeous “starry night” ceiling and table spotlights from Blue Ridge set the mood while the dancing kicked off. In addition to the changing fall leaves, Jill and Brian infused plenty color through green apples on the tables, orange pumpkins, yellow sunflowers, and red pashminas on the bridesmaids which helped continue the theme of a bright and happy celebration!

From their very first visit, Tyler and Ben had a beautiful vision for their wedding at Panorama and it definitely exceeded the expectations!  Upon arrival, guests made their way to the hilltop where they found a circular ceremony site that took advantage of the panoramic views.  After the ceremony, guests continued down to the barn for cocktails in the front lawn.  A heated tent was placed to the side of the barn while cocktail tables, yard games and a welcome table filled up the rest of the space.  We then opened the doors to reveal the inside of the barn dressed up with bistro lighting and a white/crystal chandelier (provided by the bride and groom!), soft fabric draping, eggplant purple, white and burlap linens, stunning cream and green floral arragements and plenty of personal touches on the pie table.  The buffet meal was served on the left side of the lower catering area to allow for plenty of room on the dancefloor. After dinner, guests enjoyed live music from Class Act before sending the bride and groom off with a sparkler getaway. It really was a magical night!

Sallie and Chris tied the knot at Panorama in style! Following their ceremony on the hill, guests were invited to cocktails at the grove uphill from the barn.  When it came time for dinner, guests proceeded down to a 40′x80′ tent in front of the barn.  A. Pimento provided a beautiful buffet around the center of the tent with four access points allowing all 190 guests to make their way through the line quickly.   When dinner was completed, guest headed in to the barn to enjoyed the dancing, cake and champagne. MS Events provided plenty of uplighting, bistro lights and a generous 21′x21′ dance floor so that the guests could enjoy the tunes of the Moonlighters. We enlisted the help of Hotpots to provide some trees and topiaries throughout the inside of the barn to warm up the space.  They also put together a stunning hedge of magnolia trees and other plants to block the view of the restroom trailer from the dinner tent.

It was such a pleasure working with Sallie and Chris and their families – we wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Tanya and Mike were married on a beautiful September day at Panorama with 100 other of their nearest and dearest.  The couple hosted their ceremony at the hilltop, their cocktail hour in the front yard, and dinner in the main section of the barn.  The upper section of the barn was used for dancing and a bar, and provided a great transition space for cocktail hour.  MS Events provided swag bistros throughout the ceiling for dinner, and Sugar Magnolias paired colorful vases with vibrant florals which completed the blue and white table runners with style.  Congratulations to Tanya and Mike!
